The power of a book. . .

I remember seeing the Bruno's kids beds and laughing at the mounds of books spread across them. My child is no different. If I clean out his crib he doesn't sleep well. He gets excited to go to bed because he gets to look through his books for as long as he wants without interuption. We've started having to go down at 10:30 or 11:00 at night and turn off his lamp and shut the door with only a little hall light on so that he will finally just lay down and sleep. He never fusses you can just hear him on the monitor reading his version of the book.
I went to a Jazz game the other night and when I got home Greyson's door was wide open so I went in to say goodnight. This was what I found, so ADORABLE!

Too cute! My kids are little book worms too and I love it!

That is so cute! We have similar kids and it is great that they love books. The fun thing when they get older is that they think they're tricking you by hiding under the covers with a flashlight and a book! But the circles under their eyes and the big yawns are dead giveaways!

I love it, great pictures. It is so nice when they love their books that much.

I LOVE that picture and am so happy to see that we inspired you to let Greyson have lots of books in bed-though sometimes it does get a bit out of control! Hoping for some news soon!!

Books are the best! I love it when my kids bring me a stack of books and curl up in my lap. I can remember growing up and having a bed full of books too. You are a wonderful mom!

That is such a great picture! My kiddos do the same thing at night...read until they fall asleep, but I don't think i've ever caught them with a book over their head. That's so cute!

That's too funny. But don't let it get as out of hand as Heidi does. Those kids can hardley get into bed with all those books! :)
